    Masak-Masak // Longan with Ginkgo Nut Dessert

    Chinese believe that a nourishing bowl of sweet soup can replenish our body with necessary elements to live happily and healthily. Well, I only know this dessert is amazingly delicious, hot or cold. Ingredients: 50g dried longan 60g water chestnuts 10 red dates 20g ginkgo nuts 20g lotus seeds 10g American ginseng root 200g rock sugar 2.5 litres water 20g white fungi (soaked) Method: In a pot, add water, and bring to boil over high heat. Put in entire ingredients (except white fungi). Once boiled, cover up, reduce to medium heat and cook for 1 hour. Add in white fungi, cook for another 5 minutes. Serve.
