[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 11. Lisbon (Cacilhas – Cristo Rei)
We took a commuter ferry ride across Tagus to Cacilhas. The ferry service provides an enjoyable and inexpensive activity, with wonderful waterside views of the city.

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 10. Lisbon
Our only ONE aim that day was the seafood feast at Cervejaria Ramiro. The seafood was so fresh and with the simple method of preparation, the freshness retained. The restaurant is always busy and it's pretty common to queue up for an hour or two during dinner time, but being the first customer that day (hooray!) we waited no time.

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 9. Belem, Lisbon
Built on the northern bank of Tagus, Belém Tower was part of the Tagus estuary defence system. Visitors could walk up to the charming little fort but alas, luck was not on our side that day!

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 8. Lisbon (Feira da Ladra – Cabo da Roca – Cascais)
Being the westernmost extent of continental Europe, the view from Cabo da Roca was out of the world (and even the wind was out of the world)!

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 7. Lisbon
I've always wanted to visit Lisbon as a young adult. It didn't come true. When we boarded the flight to Lisbon, I had the feeling like a long-lost dream has resurrected from its disappearance all these years.

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 6. Brussels
We really did not expect to see much in Brussels but it turned out to be quite a moving decision. When we were standing on the main square, the Grand Place, we were so inspired by its glorious architecture.

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 5. Brügge
Brügge continued to snow until late afternoon. By then, more people were seen on the streets, gazing at the miraculously beautiful town. We ended the day with a pot of mussels in cream and wine, fantastic (well, maybe not the price).

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 4. Brügge
Brügge was wonderful. We leisurely explored this capital of West Flanders, which is distinguished by its many canals (we did a canal cruise too!), cobbled streets and medieval buildings. Everything came naturally harmonious and every corner was picturesque.

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 3. Giethoorn
There wasn't any flower blooming in this season. I guess we did not pick the right time to visit Giethoorn.

[Travel Diary] Europe 2018 | 2. Zaanse Schans
Zaanse Schans is the place to go if you want to discover the traditional lifestyle of the Dutch.
