Jom DRINK! // Tujoh Café @ PJ Seksyen 17

The façade of this café was so unassuming – like a perfect disguise to the wonderful experience in within.

Deep inside our hearts we knew this wasn’t our first time here. We just couldn’t recall what happened after our previous visit.

Tucked away in an old double-storey shophouse in Seksyen 17, Tujoh Cafe is a complete gem to spend the few afternoon hours away, either enjoying a cup of coffee all alone, or gathering some friends or workmates over a hearty coffee session. Although the façade seems unassuming, but we cannot deny it’s an Instagrammable café around this area.

Occupying a cozy space favoured with tastefully designed interior, the café also features modern black and white paintings with hanging lights around the café. Most eye-catching must be the bright leafy courtyard with a huge collection of vintage television sets and radios, giving the café an extra layer of impression.

I especially like the courtyard with ample of sunlight – such a delightful sight to have in a café. We were there after lunch, and only managed to order drinks. Tujoh cafe serves a wide range of espresso based coffee, in addition to many other specialty beverages, we did have some hard time picking what we wanted to order.
You can find Tujoh Cafe’s full menu here.

I wasn’t in the mood for coffee, so Billy got me Chamomile Tea and ordered himself Pandan Iced Latte. There’s nothing much I could introduce more about the Chamomile Tea, it’s Chamomile Tea. However, we truly liked the Pandan Iced Latte. The latte infused with syrup was so distinctively flavoured with taste of pandan, and the espresso had a rich aftertaste. Over the tea break session, Billy and I discussed about improving his commercial website’s user experience. Tea break can be productive too!

After all, this is a café I will revisit if I were to be in this area again. The friendly service, the cozy ambience, all made up to a good experience. Maybe I’d try some food from their menu during my next visit?

We also like Café Du Jour @ The Hub SS2.
